Archiving Policy
TSUJCMS understands that the long-term preservation of scholarly research is vital for the continuous advancement of knowledge. The journal employs a multi-tiered digital archiving and preservation strategy to ensure that all published articles remain permanently accessible, uncorrupted, and discoverable by the global academic community.
1. Green Open Access and Self-Archiving
TSUJCMS fully supports self-archiving and permits authors to retain the right to archive all versions of their work in institutional, national, or subject-specific repositories without any embargo periods:
· Preprints (Pre-Review): Authors may post their initial, un-reviewed preprint versions to personal web pages, professional networks, or non-commercial pre-publication servers at any time.
· Postprints (Accepted Manuscript): Authors may upload their accepted, peer-reviewed versions to university repositories immediately upon formal editorial acceptance.
· Version of Record (Published PDF): Authors are highly encouraged to deposit the final, publisher-formatted PDF into their home institution's digital library or academic networks (such as ResearchGate, Academia.edu, or SSRN) immediately upon publication, ensuring proper citation links back to the official journal web platform.
2. Institutional and Digital Preservation
· University Servers: The complete digital collection, including all full-text articles (PDF format) and structural XML metadata, is backed up and securely preserved on the main servers of the Taraba State University digital library ecosystem.
· Global Abstracting and Indexing Dissemination: To insulate the journal's catalog against local server disruptions, article metadata and full texts are regularly synchronised and deposited into major open-access discovery platforms, regional databases, and indexing networks. This distributed replication guarantees that the permanent scientific record remains immune to technical disruptions or platform adjustments.
